COMMUNITY MEDICAL OUTREACH
YAWE foundation continues to strengthen and promote community partnerships through
Embracing extension of primary health care services to the people. Following a request
from rotary clubs of Kabarole and Fort portal city, during their launch for the rotary cancer run, we carried out community medical outreach where we provided a number of services to people along Balya road, bazaar ward, central division, Fort-portal city where we had Honorable Linda Irene, woman MP as the chief guest.
We carried out the following activities free of charge, health education, free medical consultation, Blood pressure monitoring, distribution of self-testing (ORAQUICK) kits distribution, family
Planning, HIV counselling and testing (HTS), nutritional assessment, condoms, syphilis testing,
And blood donation with our implementing partners Fort portal regional referral blood bank and
Rotary club.
