COMMUNITY OUTREACH THROUGH YAWE FOUNDATION.
YAWE foundation partnered with the Tooro Kingdom during the Empango (Coronation) Medical Camp, that took place on 27th–28th September 2026 at Mucwa, the Kingdom’s administrative headquarters.
As we celebrate the coronation of His Royal Majesty king Edward Rukidi Nyabongo I. this partnership reflects our shared commitment to promoting culture, community health and wellbeing.
The two-day medical camp focused on preventive, promotive and curative healthcare providing various health services like nutritional assessment, NCD screening (glucose and bloods pressure measurement to screen or diagnose diabetes and hypertension), STI Screening and testing (HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B, etc), malaria testing, TB screening, family planning, deworming, vitamin A supplementation, medical consultation, health education and promotion.
