Maternal child health (MCH) remains an important component in empowering women along with their children and as a way of ensuring that women stay in a good condition with their children as well as properly plan for their families in terms of child spacing using modern family planning methods.
YAWE foundation continues carrying out health education, immunization of children under-5 years against childhood immunizable killer diseases like Polio, measles,etc. Deworming, vitamin A supplementation and as well as family planning services at our routine immunisation post of Nyakitojo and this happens every second Thursday of every month.
